A 20-year-old studying computer science at a small university in South Dakota, Dienne Herlsif has been an HP fan since 2000, and ran the widely successful Harry Potter Rumors site (the largest collection of Harry Potter rumors and theories on the Web) for six years before the approach of HP and the Deathly Hallows. In January 2007, Dienne registered www.harrypotterwebgame.com and began development on a new project to replace her precious HPR.

Though he is Dienne's top programming advisor, Seneschal's work does not actually show up on the HPWG site. Rather, he is essential to keeping Dienne organized, thinking outside the box, looking for new ideas, and ... sane. More or less.
